MOSUL - Here's a photo gallery from nine days on combat patrols throughout Mosul. From top to bottom:1. A U.S. soldier peeks out from behind a wall after we took sniper fire.
2. The Iraqi Army used there humvees to round up neighborhood men after one of their soldiers was shot nearby.
3. An 18-year-old mechanic with the bike he was working on when we came across him in the street.
4. A child looks out the door as an Iraqi National Police officer comes to the door.
5. Cow heads for sale at an open air market. I can't get over it. It's a local delicacy but it's so in-your-face, ha ha, every time I see it.
