SPARTA, er, BALAD, Iraq - Apparently the unfortunate appreciation for epically, awesomely bad movie 300 extends to U.S. soldiers. Sadly, unlike in DC, these Spartans fans did not buy me a beer.
Now, if only the Spartans could defeat the crippling stomach virus that has kept me on my ass for the last three days (and in the hospital one night) and the crippling bureaucracy keeping me from my first embed, they might gain another fan.
