BAGHDAD - Who knows how many bodies were dumped in this palace-side lake in Saddam's days. It's probably why the carp are so fat here. But on this evening, it certainly made for a nice sunset.
I'll take beauty where I can get it here.

Great shot, Druz. It makes Iraq seem serene. Magic?
The pollution and wind-blown dust in the air lined up perfectly at dusk. Not pictured are the mosquitoes that also enjoyed the sunset - took a few for the team to get the shot.
You know how I feel about sunset photos, but this is pretty nice...
